    Enrollment Application
  • Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and Applicant:

The goal of the TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program is to help students prepare to attend the college or university of their choice.  ETS is an educational program serving students who are enrolled in any grade from six through twelve and who attend or live in the target areas of Walnut Ridge and Briggs High Schools, Johnson Park, Sherwood, Hilltonia, and Wedgewood Middle Schools. Select adult students under the age of 27 may also qualify for TRIO ETS services.  ETS is funded largely by $277,375 per year grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

Program services include but are not limited to: academic advising and tutoring, assistance in selecting high school courses, mentoring, career information and exploration activities, ACT/SAT information and preparation, college planning and placement including assistance in completing college and financial aid applications, financial literacy, and visits to colleges and universities.  For more information about the ETS Program, please visit http://cscc.edu/ets/.  Two-thirds of the participants selected for the ETS Program must be from low-income families and be potential first generation college students (neither parent has graduated from a four year college or university).  All participants must show a need for the services provided by the Educational Talent Search Program.

There is absolutely NO CHARGE to student or parents for Educational Talent Search services and materials.  Your interest in the Educational Talent Search Program is appreciated. Please completely fill out the application. Feel free to contact the Educational Talent Search Office at (614) 287-5056 with any questions that you may have.  We must have a completed application before the student can be selected to participate in this program.

    Sincerely,

    Melissa Paskievitch
