University of Wisconsin Superior SSS-SSS Grant Aid Application

SSS gives out $44,000 every year to help its TRIO SSS members with unmet need. TRIO SSS members need to receive the Pell Grant in the current semester and be in good academic standing: 2.0+. You must be an accepted and active member of the TRIO SSS Program to be eligible for this grant aid. An active member means you have met your TRIO SSS Advisor at least one time prior to September 30th and/or have attend at least one workshop or event prior to September 30th.

3. Required Workshops if you are Awarded Grant Aid

Federal regulations require that all SSS Grant Aid recipients complete financial literacy training. You will need to attend a Financial Literacy workshop in both fall and spring semesters, so please be sure to check your UWS email for the dates of those workshops.

4) Acknowledgment
I understand that if my federally allotted financial aid has been maxed out for this academic year, my grant will be credited towards any loans I have taken. I also understand that if I have no loans, and I have maxed out my financial aid, I will not receive this grant.
