Upward Bound Teacher Recommendation
The Kishwaukee College TRIO Upward Bound is a federally funded college-prep program that serves DeKalb High School students who identify as either low-income, first-generation, or at high risk for academic failure. Ideal candidates for TRIO Upward Bound are low-income & first-generation, have a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and have the intrinsic motivation to succeed. The student indicated in the email invitation is applying to the Upward Bound program at Kishwaukee College. We are interested in attracting quality applicants who want to pursue a college education upon graduation from high school.
