  • Veterans Upward Bound is a cost free federally-funded program through the U.S. Department of Education program designed to assist veterans in the development of the required skills needed to succeed in college or VoTech program of your choice.

    The VUB program provides counseling, mentoring, tutoring, and academic instruction in the core subject areas.  Other services VUB provides GI Bill and/or VA Disability Benefit application assistance, school selection comparison, academic skills development, academic program research, scholarship and financial aid assistance, admissions assistance, transcript requests, financial literacy, and test preparation.

    • MISSION STATEMENT: Veterans Upward Bound is designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of postsecondary education. Redlands Community College’s mission is to foster a learning environment in which students, faculty, staff, and community interact to educate students for life.
