Marion Technical College’s TRIO Talent Search program wants to help them reach their goal of high school graduation, college, and a career. This free program will introduce your child to a variety of college and career options and then help them with the steps to get there! There is absolutely no cost to students or their families. Just fill out this application.

Talent Search (TS) is an educational program serving students who are enrolled in grades 6-12 and who attend or live in the target areas of Marion City, Elgin, Ridgedale, Mt. Gilead, Cardington-Lincoln, Upper Sandusky, and Kenton City school districts. Select adult students under the age of 27 may also qualify for TRIO TS services.  TS is funded largely by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

Program services include but are not limited to: academic advising and tutoring, assistance in selecting high school courses, mentoring, career information and exploration activities, ACT/SAT information and preparation, college planning and placement including assistance in completing college and financial aid applications (including the FAFSA and scholarships) financial literacy, and visits to colleges and universities.  For more information about the TS Program, please visit www.mtc.edu/trio-talent.  All participants must show a need for the services provided by the Talent Search Program.

Please completely fill out, review, and submit this application. Please feel free to contact the Talent Search Office at (740) 725-4005 with any questions that you may have.  We must have a completed application before the student can be selected to participate in this program.
