We're so glad you're interested in being a Student Ambassador for the TRIO Program! Once we've received your interest form, we'll contact you to discuss the next steps and answer any questions you might have. TRIO Student Support Services at BTC is aimed at helping students adjust to college life, succeed in classes, graduate with a degree or certificate, and start a career or transfer to four-year colleges and universities. TRIO is federally funded through the U.S. Department of Education.

Overview of TRIO Ambassador Program:

Ambassadors help in a variety of ways - such as assisting TRIO students in the TRIO Lounge, updating social media, creating events, representing TRIO during info sessions/tabling events, provide campus tours for new TRIO students, and complete an annual service project (determined by team).

Requirements:

Must be a BTC student in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA)
Able to commit to 10-15 hours per week between 8am-5pm, Mon to Fri
Work will mostly be on-campus with some remote possible.
