Student Agreement

In order to participate in the Palo Alto College TRIO Talent Search program, I agree to:
- Schedule 1-1 advising with my TS Senior Advisor/ Director at a minimum of 4 times a school year;
- Communicate with my TS Senior Advisor/ Director when I need assistance with school, difficult situations, or in the event I cannot make it to an event;
- Attend school regularly, refrain from discipline/ behavioral problems, and strive to do my best in all classes;
- Respect my teachers, school staff, advisors, and peers;
- Attend in-person or Zoom (camera on) workshops once every two months;
- Submit my progress reports and report cards to my assigned TS Senior Advisor every semester and HS transcript once a year (do not be afraid to turn these in, we only want to help you increase your grades whether you have a 9 in a class or a 99, there is no judgment);
- Notify TS if you are falling behind in school or thinking about dropping out;
- Notify TS if you are moving to another school, have a change of address or phone number.

In addition, I understand that:
- Being a highly active participate will give me more opportunities to attend program field trips;
- PAC TRIO Talent Search is a long-term commitment and I will have access to resources until I graduate from high school;
- Post HS graduation PAC TRIO Talent Search will continue to contact me for 6 years for data purposes;
- Although it is not a requirement to go to college or technical school the Fall after HS graduation, it is an expectation.
