The McNair Scholars Program is a TRiO Program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. To participate, students must meet U.S. residency requirements, be first-generation college students with financial need, and/or be members of underrepresented groups in higher education. If you are selected for an interview, you will need to hand deliver a copy of your and/or your parents’ tax return from 2021 or 2022 to the McNair Scholars Program Office in the Lucile Berkeley Buchanan building 255c or 255D prior to the interview. This information will be treated confidentially.

VI. RECOMMENDATIONS
Provide contact information for recommenders who can attest to your academic ability, potential for conducting research in your discipline, and motivation/preparation to undertake graduate study. At least one of the recommenders should be a faculty member at CU Boulder.
