Brandeis University-SSS-Peer Tutor Request 2
  • TRIO SSSP Peer Tutor Request Form

  • SSSP Peer Tutoring is a resource only available to those in the Student Support Services Program (SSSP) at Brandeis University. Please complete this form to request an SSSP Peer Tutor. This form should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

SSSP Peer Tutoring can be delivered in person or remotely. To request a tutor for your course, please complete all the questions on this online peer tutoring application. Priority will be given to those who complete the application by Monday, January 12, 2026. The last possible day to request a tutor will be Friday, February 13, 2026. Please note that tutor matches cannot be guaranteed for request received after the priority deadline. Incomplete applications can significantly delay your tutoring assignment. Tutoring for available courses will begin during the first week of classes, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Students can only request a tutor for a maximum of two (2) courses or three (3) if one course is a lab. Tutoring matches cannot be made for every course; however, we will try our best to make matches based on tutor availability. Matching will be made via email, and your response is required to confirm your assignment. Please notify Kimoi immediately via email at sssptutoring@brandeis.edu if you have dropped a class that you requested a tutor or if you determined you would no longer like to be matched with the tutor you have requested. This will help us to re-distribute matches in an accurate and equitable manner.

PRIORITY APPLICATION DEADLINE: Monday, January 12, 2026. FINAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, February 13, 2026

***Due to the high demand for tutoring, requests must be made on or before the application deadline. Requests made after this date are subject to availability.

    3) Commitment Expectations: All students who sign up for tutoring are expected to attend your sessions consistently every week at the scheduled day and time. Missing more than 2 meetings in a semester can result in your assignment being cancelled. In the rare event you must cancel for an emergency, you must give your tutor at least 24-hours notice.
