Student Support Services is a federally funded TRIO program designed to meet the academic needs of East Central University students. Our goal is to improve the retention and graduation rates of our students by providing an environment where students can come for assistance with academic and personal needs. We provide services and resources such as tutoring, assistance in selecting courses, financial literacy education, assistance completing the FAFSA, and assistance applying to graduate school. We aim to help students succeed throughout their college experience and beyond.

- To qualify for the program, you must be either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and be enrolled at ECU as an undergraduate student. You must also meet at least one of the following criteria: first-generation college student, student with disabilities, or low-income student.

- As a federally funded TRIO program, Student Support Services is required to provide documentation of a student's eligibility for the program to the U.S. Department of Education and implement the TRIO regulations that state two-thirds of the students served must meet federal low-income guidelines. All applicants must complete this section whether or not you believe you qualify as low-income.
