Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) is a federally funded program at Sonoma State University that prepares low-income, firstgeneration students for college and careers in STEM fields. We serve 9th–12th graders from partner high schools across Sonoma and Napa counties. Our program is free for all participants.

Students remain in the program throughout high school and must commit to Saturday Academies during the school year and a summer program. We are seeking students with college potential who may need extra support to reach their goals. The ideal UBMS student is responsible, committed, and motivated to explore STEM.
