Thank you for providing us with information about your student. Upward Bound is a federally funded program at Sonoma State University that prepares low-income, first-generation students for college. We serve 9th–12th graders at Fort Bragg High School in Fort Bragg, California. Our program is free for all participants.

Students remain in the program throughout high school and must commit to enrollment in the Upward Bound elective class at Fort Bragg High School during the school year, as well as a summer program. We are seeking students with college potential who may need extra support to reach their goals. The ideal Upward Bound student is responsible, committed, and has a positive attitude towards learning.
