  • Student Support Services is a federally funded TRiO program serving 190 students at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. Its purpose is to provide academic support services to help eligible students stay in college and graduate. SSS also introduces students to the “college experience” and assists them in reaching their academic goals. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education in the amount of $352,531.

    Eligible students are enrolled at UVA Wise and meet one or more of the following criteria: First generation college student, Limited or low-income, Physical or learning disability.
